She plays both acoustic and electric violins, including a unique five-string Bridge electric and her beloved acoustic Maggini-style violin handcrafted by a Dutch luthier around 200 years ago - known for their slightly broader build and rich, full-bodied sound. Jess brings influences from gypsy, ska, and circus music, often looping Irish and Balkan melodies in her street performances.

Loops come in four different keys and a variety of techniques including bowed phrases both staccato and legato, plucked strings, tremolo, trills, and impactful double stops.
