Beach Acoustics

'Beach Acoustics' from Loopmasters offers an impressive fusion of styles, ranging from the rhythmic beats of Latin Pop to the soulful sounds of earthy European folk. Five different acoustic and classical guitars were used, set up in altered tunings including DADGAD, Open G, and Drop D, with capos adding further variation - unlocking new melodies that would be difficult or impossible to achieve in standard tunings.

Inspired by blending classical fingerpicking styles with modern picking techniques and drawing from Dembow riddims, popular chord progressions found in modern Latin pop music including reggaeton and dancehall provide the melodic influence. Each piece comprises up to five different parts that can be effortlessly combined and mixed, with tempos ranging from 95-105 BPM.
